How active are you?

Submitted by Claire on

The Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) Journal (2014) quotes the World Health Organisation as saying that more than 60% of the global population is not sufficiently active. Inactivity is the world's 4th biggest killer!

Being more active reduces the risk of heart disease, including strokes.

Much better to get out and walk at least! I try to get to at least 10,000 steps per day - that's a Government target. Sometimes I don't reach it, but at least it is an aim!  And don't stay sitting too long!

The World Heart Federation wants to reduce premature deaths caused by cardiovascular disease by 25% by 2025.

If you'd like to get more active and improve your health and fitness, then take a look at our Pilates classes and see what courses we have to offer.

Alternatively, get in touch to talk it through with us.

Motivation is the hardest part.
